Misnomer
This Lion Brand pattern is called "Flattering Dress." I don't think it's possible to make anything flattering out of Homespun.

Well, you have to admit, it's a more accurate name for a garment made out of Homespun than "Comfortable Dress"
I love the shape of the dress, but in Homespun (which I love in many other things), no way. I can't imagine it wouldn't look droopy no matter how well made.
Think of all everything you could conceal under there. Small immigrants, kilos, AK-47s... Not to mention, "Aren't you proud of me dear? I went to the yarn store and didn't buy a thing!"
Coming soon from Lion Brand - 20 pocket Homespun pantaloons.
Can't even imagine how uncomfortable that dress is. Homespun just pulls so bad due to the weight of the yarn it'll probably by down to her ankles by noon.
